1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Boostmail, a product of AdPerfect ("Boostmail", "we", "us"), handles personal data in connection with our Shopify email and SMS marketing application and the website at boostmail.app (together, the "Service"). It applies to merchants who install and use Boostmail and to visitors of our website. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Data we collect

We collect the following categories of data:

• Account information. When you install Boostmail, we receive details from your Shopify store such as your store name, primary email address, contact name, and the scopes you authorize.
• Subscriber lists you import. To send your campaigns, we process the contact data you provide or sync from your store, for example subscriber email addresses, phone numbers, names, and engagement events (opens, clicks, bounces, unsubscribes).
• Content you create. Campaigns, templates, automations, segments, and the prompts you submit to AI content features.
• Usage analytics. Log and device data, feature usage, and performance metrics we use to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
• Billing data. Subscription and plan information processed through the Shopify Billing API. We do not store full payment card numbers.

3. How we use data

We use personal data to:

• provide, maintain, and secure the Service, including sending the email and SMS messages you schedule;
• generate AI-assisted content from the prompts and inputs you provide;
• monitor sender reputation and deliverability and handle bounces and complaints;
• provide support, respond to requests, and send service-related notices;
• analyze and improve features, reliability, and performance; and
• comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

4. Sub-processors

We rely on a limited set of third-party service providers ("sub-processors") to operate the Service, for example cloud hosting and infrastructure, email and SMS delivery providers, AI content providers, and analytics and error-monitoring tools. Sub-processors are bound by contract to protect personal data and may only process it on our instructions. A current list of sub-processors is available on request from [email protected].

5. Data retention

We retain personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you uninstall Boostmail or close your account, we delete or anonymize the personal data we hold within a commercially reasonable period, except where retention is required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. Shopify-mandated data-erasure webhooks are honored.

6. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. Where Boostmail acts as a processor on behalf of a merchant (for example, regarding the merchant's subscriber list), requests from the subscriber should be directed to that merchant, and we will assist the merchant in responding. 7. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege practices. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's privacy

The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the Service.
